Lambda Metric View
The Average Response Time, Errors Per Interval, and Responses Per interval metrics help you to configure and trigger alerts when abnormal values appear. This helps in prioritizing issues and addressing them.
Lambda Map View
The screenshot below represents two lambda functions. The First Lambda function named Lambda_A is calling the second Lambda function named Lambda_B. Both the Lambda functions are enabled for active tracing using which the APM Application layer describes the flow as below.
Lambda Component View
If Lambda is being monitored in both the Infrastructure Layer and Application Layer, the Lamda vertex gets automatically correlated with the Infrastructure Layer vertex. This helps correlate the Application Layer components with the APM ecosystem.
Lambda Business Transaction
Lambda is considered a new process. Therefore, Lambda A spans as one process and Lambda B spans as the second process. When you click the Lambda vertex in the Application layer of Map view, we will be seeing the Business Transactions tab. The tab contains all the traces that happened during the selected period. When you select any one of the traces, you will be able to see a holistic view of the business transaction view. The view contains process level and component level details describing the elapsed time and related Metrics for the selected component.
